The T 787 is a seven-channel AV receiver that combines surround decoding, a preamp stage and a power amplifier in one chassis. Full-disclosure power is 7 x 120W (20.8dBW) with all channels driven, with 200W FTC, 230W into 8 ohms and 320W into 4 ohms listed for the amplifier section. Distortion at rated power is below 0.08% THD+N and the damping factor is above 60 at 8 ohms.
The built-in tuner covers FM from 87.50MHz to 108.50MHz with RDS decoding, and AM from 530kHz to 1710kHz in the 120V version. The preamp section lists a signal-to-noise ratio above 88dB and a maximum output level above 4V. Standby consumption is below 0.5W.
