M17 V2

The M17 V2 is a surround sound preamplifier and processor intended to sit at the centre of a multichannel home cinema system, feeding external power amplifiers. It handles HDMI video passthrough at up to 4K UHD resolution and provides a coaxial digital input along with balanced XLR outputs.

On the audio side, the unit lists a signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB, channel separation above 70 dB and a frequency response of ±0.3 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with tone controls active. The subwoofer output extends from 10 to 200 Hz (-3 dB), and treble control covers ±10 dB at 10 kHz. Distortion is rated below 0.005% (CCIF IMD, DIM 100).

For connectivity it has a gigabit-capable RJ45 Ethernet port, and the support pages reference BluOS firmware, so it can be updated and integrated into networked setups. A Crestron IP driver is available for control integration. The chassis measures 435 x 156 x 386 mm and weighs 10.9 kg. The maker lists it as archived and no longer for sale.
