The D 3020 combines a stereo power amplifier with a digital-to-analogue converter in a small chassis. Rated output is 2 x 30 W at 8 ohms with distortion of 0.005% or less, and the amplifier is specified for more than 100 W of dynamic power into 4 ohms. IHF dynamic power figures are 2 x 65 W at 8 ohms, 2 x 105 W at 4 ohms and 2 x 150 W at 2 ohms.
Sources can be connected through optical and coaxial digital inputs, analogue inputs, a computer USB (Type B) input and Bluetooth with aptX HD. Digital Audio inputs accept up to 24-bit/192 kHz, while the USB input accepts up to 24-bit/96 kHz. A subwoofer output and a bass EQ setting are provided for system tuning, and a separate headphone amplifier handles headphone listening.
Operation is by wireless remote, and standby power draw is 0.5 W or less. Windows USB audio drivers and a software upgrade (v3.2 for Mac and Windows) are available as downloads, along with manuals in several languages. The product is listed as archived and no longer sold by the maker.
