CI S2
The CI S2 is a compact two-zone BluOS network streamer for custom installation. It suits integrators building distributed audio systems that need hi-res streaming, wired Ethernet and control-system support in a 1/3-rack-width chassis.

The CI S2 is a two-zone network music player built on the BluOS platform. Each zone can carry its own content, volume and output path, so a single small unit can feed two rooms. It plays services, internet radio and local libraries, and supports AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. Audio goes through an ESS Sabre 9039Q2M DAC, with playback up to 192 kHz.
The chassis is 1U high and 1/3 rack wide, so six stereo zones fit in one rack unit. It can be combined with other NAD CI Modular Series devices and mounted with ChassisLink. Rack ears that double as wall brackets, long rack ears or blanking plates, and optional rubber feet are supplied.
Connection is by gigabit Ethernet only, with no built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Power can come from the supplied 12 V DC adaptor or from PoE. Inputs are Toslink, digital coax and stereo RCA for Zone 1, plus a USB Type A port for local storage. There is a configurable 12 V smart trigger input, a 12 V trigger output and a 2-pin PHX IR input. Drivers are listed for several control and automation systems.
