The 110LP v2 is a single-input phono stage in a small all-aluminium chassis. It takes one pair of RCA inputs and handles both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. Gain, input impedance, input capacitance and the equalisation curve (IEC or RIAA) are set with dipswitches on the underside, so a new cartridge can be matched in a few seconds.
The circuit is a mirror-image symmetrical design on a four-layer PCB with pure copper tracks. An improved power supply, a revised layout and inductive DC filtering are used to lower the noise floor, and the input overload margin is increased. Gain steps run from 40 dB to 66 dB, impedance from 10 Ω to 47 kΩ and capacitance from 0 to 430 pF.
The unit is powered by an external AC supply that accepts 100-240 V and draws 2 W at idle. It is intended to stay powered on at all times. Output connections are gold-plated RCA.
