Each voice has three analog triangle-core oscillators, two independent analog filters, a dual-source analog noise generator, and an analog mixer that accepts external audio. Every voice also has four LFOs and three envelopes. The oscillators combine a selectable triangle or sawtooth wave with a variable-width pulse wave, and they offer hard sync, analog ring modulation and FM.
The instrument runs three timbres, which can be split or layered across the keyboard. Each timbre has its own sequencer, arpeggiator and onboard effects, including a set of reverbs from Eventide. The digital effects can be bypassed to keep the signal path fully analog.
The controls sit in a hand-finished Ash cabinet with an aluminum enclosure. The panel has 73 knobs and 144 buttons. A per-module More button brings extra parameters up on the center-panel LCD. The keyboard is a Fatar TP-8S with velocity and aftertouch. Performance controls include pitch and modulation wheels, a pressure-sensing X/Y pad with hold, and inputs for a sustain pedal and two expression pedals.
