UltraPhono Pro

The UltraPhono Pro takes the core circuit design of the MasterPhono flagship and applies it to a single-input phono stage, developed with audio engineer Peter Madnick. It uses a fully discrete J-FET and MOSFET gain stage and a passive RIAA equalization network with no feedback, with precision film-foil parts holding RIAA accuracy to ±0.05 dB.
Gain and cartridge loading are set from the front panel. Three gain settings and five loading values cover a range of cartridges, and listening controls for mono, subsonic filtering, mute and dim are provided. A seven-stage regulated balanced power supply is used to keep noise low.
The input is a single-ended RCA jack in voltage mode. Outputs are available as RCA (unbalanced) and balanced, with different gain values for each. The chassis combines brushed-aluminum panels with a rigid steel frame.
