MasterPhono
The MasterPhono is a phono preamplifier from MoFi Electronics, designed with engineer Peter Madnick and built in the USA. It handles both MM and MC cartridges and is aimed at vinyl listeners who want adjustable loading and a current-mode input stage.

The MasterPhono is a fully analog phono stage developed with audio engineer Peter Madnick. It uses a dual-chassis layout that separates the power supply from the signal path, fully discrete balanced circuitry that is servo-controlled and DC-coupled, a passive RIAA network, and cascaded voltage regulation.
The input can work in two ways. In voltage mode it takes a standard signal over RCA or XLR. In current mode it uses a near-zero impedance transimpedance stage meant for low-output moving-coil cartridges, which damps the cartridge without manual loading. Gain is selectable at 40, 50, 60 or 70 dB for MM or MC. Ten loading settings are offered, including a Custom option set through an RCA plug on the rear panel.
Two front-panel VU meters can be used for monitoring or for cartridge azimuth calibration. Input, gain, mute, mono, meter and subsonic filter are controlled from a remote. Outputs are balanced and single-ended, and a USB input is included for future features and software updates. It comes in Walnut or Black.
