ARGON8M is an 8-voice wavetable synthesiser module in a desktop enclosure with included 19-inch rack brackets. It suits performers, producers and sound designers who want a hands-on wavetable synth with MPE support, a sequencer and an arpeggiator.

ARGON8M is a true 8-voice polyphonic wavetable synthesiser with 32 wavetable oscillators (4 per voice), 180 wavetables and 32 static wavetable modifiers. Eight morphable filter types, three envelopes, two audio-rate LFOs and a modulation matrix with 11 sources and 52 destinations shape the sound. A three-slot stereo effects engine adds drive, chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo, lo-fi, rotary, delay and reverb algorithms.
For performance it offers MPE support, a 512-note real-time sequencer with four animation lanes, a 64-step polyphonic step sequencer and a programmable 32-step arpeggiator. Controls include 13 switched encoders, 13 encoders, 9 buttons, an X/Y joystick and a 1.54-inch OLED display. Memory holds 500 patches (300 factory), 100 sequencer presets and 100 FX presets.
Connections include line outputs, a headphone output, a stereo audio input, MIDI DIN in and out, 3.5 mm analogue clock sync in and out, class-compliant USB MIDI, and expression and sustain pedal inputs. The free MODALapp editor runs on macOS, Windows, iOS, iPadOS and Android, and as AU/VST3 plug-ins. Two units can be polychained for 16 voices.
