ARGON8 is an 8-voice wavetable synthesiser with a 37-note FATAR keybed with aftertouch, MPE support, a sequencer and an arpeggiator. It suits performers, producers and sound designers who want hands-on control plus app and plug-in editing.

ARGON8 is an eight-voice polyphonic synthesiser built around 32 wavetable oscillators (four per voice). It offers 180 wavetables in 36 banks, 32 static wavetable modifiers and eight oscillator modifier types. Sound is shaped by eight morphable filter types, three envelope generators, two audio-rate LFOs and a modulation matrix with 12 sources and 55 destinations. Three stereo FX slots draw on 26 effect algorithms.
For playing, the synth has a FATAR 37-key keybed with velocity and channel aftertouch, 29 endless encoders, 24 buttons and a four-axis joystick. It supports MPE controllers. A 512-note real-time sequencer, a 64-step polyphonic step sequencer with four animation lanes and a 32-step programmable arpeggiator are built in. Memory holds 500 patches (300 factory), 100 sequencer presets and 100 FX presets.
Connections include line outputs, a headphone output, a stereo audio input, MIDI DIN in and out, analogue clock sync in and out, class-compliant USB MIDI, and expression and sustain pedal inputs. The free MODALapp editor runs on macOS, Windows, iOS, iPadOS and Android, and as VST3 and AU plug-ins. Two units can be polychained for 16 voices.
