A 20-watt all-valve guitar amplifier head from Marshall's Studio range, made in the UK and modelled on the tone of the original JTM45. It offers two voices and a switchable 20W/5W output for players who gig, rehearse or play at home.

The Studio JTM Head (ST20H) is a compact valve amplifier head with a single channel that carries two voices, which can be used separately or blended. Output power can be switched between 20W and 5W, so the same amp suits quieter rooms and louder stages without a change in tone. The sound is built around two ECC83 preamp valves, an ECC83 phase splitter and two 5881 power valves.
The front panel has four 1/4" instrument inputs with high and low sensitivity, plus Normal/Loudness II, High Treble/Loudness I, Treble, Middle, Bass and Presence controls. There is no onboard effects section, but a series-switchable effects loop is fitted for external processors.
On the rear, five 1/4" speaker outputs cover 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, and a separate 1/4" DI output is provided. The head is finished in black with the classic metal 'coffin' logo, golden piping and beading, and is built at the Marshall factory in Bletchley, England. A detachable power cable and a speaker cable are supplied.
