Minor IV is a true wireless in-ear set with 12 mm dynamic drivers, a 32 Ω impedance and a 20-20,000 Hz frequency range. Each earbud has a touch-sensitive surface with mirrored controls, so either side can handle playback, calls, volume, the voice assistant or an EQ preset. A sensor in each earbud detects when it is in the ear and pauses or resumes playback when an earbud is removed or reinserted.
The earbuds run for 7 hours on a charge, and the case brings the total to over 30 hours. A 15-minute quick charge adds 3 hours of playback. The case supports wireless charging, and a battery preservation mode in the companion app lets the user set a temperature limit, a maximum charge level and the charging speed. The earbuds are rated IPX4.
Connection is by Bluetooth, with a range of 10 m and LE Audio readiness. Two devices can be connected at once, and up to 8 previously paired devices are remembered. The earbuds work without an app, but the Marshall Bluetooth app adds personal EQ, button assignments and over-the-air firmware updates. The set comes in black or cream and is charged over USB-C.
