A 50W all-valve guitar amplifier head from Marshall's JVM range, built in the UK. It has two channels with three gain modes, digital reverb and two effects loops, and suits players who run pedals and want programmable control.

The JVM205 Head is a 50W valve amp head with two channels and a multi-mode design offering three gain stages, indicated by green, orange and red LEDs. Each channel has its own gain, treble, middle, bass and reverb controls, with shared presence and resonance controls. A master volume can be switched on for each channel, so solo and rhythm levels can be set separately.
The power section uses two EL34 valves, with four ECC83 preamp valves plus one ECC83 as phase splitter. Digital reverb is built in, and there are two effects loops, one series/parallel and one series. A programmable footswitch is supplied and recalls the mode, master and reverb settings.
The back panel provides five 1/4" speaker outputs for 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, an emulated line out on XLR and MIDI In and Thru. The amp is designed, engineered and assembled by hand in the UK, and comes in black.
