The JVM205 Combo is a 50W all-valve 2x12" combo amplifier from Marshall's JVM range, built in the UK. It has two channels with three modes each, suited to players who want clean tones through to high-gain overdrive for practice, stage or recording.

The JVM205 Combo is a 50-watt valve combo with two channels, each offering three modes, so one amp covers clean sounds through to high-gain overdrive. Each channel has its own gain, treble, middle, bass and reverb controls, and there are individual master volume controls per channel, plus shared presence and resonance controls.
The power section uses two EL34 valves, with four ECC83 preamp valves and a fifth ECC83 as phase splitter. Speakers are a Celestion Heritage G12H and a Celestion Vintage in a 2x12" configuration. Digital reverb is built in, and there are two effects loops: one series/parallel and one series. A programmable footswitch is supplied and recalls the mode, master and reverb settings.
The amp takes one instrument input and has a footswitch connection and MIDI In. On the output side there are five speaker jacks for 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, an emulated line out on XLR and a MIDI Thru. The unit is hand-assembled in the maker's UK factory and finished in black.
