This pedal recreates the sound of the original Guv'nor, first released in 1988. It delivers a smooth overdriven tone with light compression, and can be set anywhere from soft driven sounds to a louder boosted overdrive. The enclosure copies the original's shape and its individually coloured control knobs.
Tone is shaped with five controls: Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Level. A Y-insert send/return loop sits after the EQ section, so other effects can be placed there; the Y-insert cable is not supplied. The chassis is mild steel, and the unit is designed and built in the UK.
The pedal has one 1/4" jack input and one 1/4" jack output. It runs from a 9V battery or a 9V DC power adaptor, and the adaptor is not included. The unit weighs 0.8 kg without a battery and comes in a black and red finish.
