The 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo is a two-channel, all-valve combo amplifier rated at 30W. It is part of the Vintage Reissue range and is designed and built in the UK. Power comes from two 5881 power valves, with a GZ34 rectifier and ECC83 preamp and phase-splitter valves. The channels can be bridged.
Controls are kept basic: Volume I and II, a three-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), Presence, and a valve tremolo with Speed and Intensity knobs. The tremolo can be switched with a footswitch. There is no effects loop. Two 12" Celestion G12M-25 speakers (16Ω, 25W each) provide a mid-forward voice with a tight high end.
Four 1/4" instrument inputs (high and low sensitivity) serve the two channels. Two 1/4" speaker outputs allow a selectable 16Ω, 8Ω or 4Ω load for adding an extension cabinet. The finish is black, and a detachable power cable is supplied.
