The MB58R CMD 151 P is a self-contained bass combo from Markbass's MB58R series. It pairs a 1x15" Markbass classic ceramic-magnet speaker with a newly designed piezo tweeter, and is aimed at players who prefer a traditional speaker but want less weight to carry. The enclosure uses a new lightweight material, which keeps the whole combo at 14.6 kg (32.1 lbs).

The built-in amplifier delivers 300W RMS into 4 ohms or 150W RMS into 8 ohms. Controls include gain, a 4-band EQ, VLE and VPF filters, a master volume and a line-out level control. Pre/post EQ and ground switches are also provided. The cabinet has a rear reflex port, a 3.5 kHz crossover point and a quoted frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz.

The speaker section is rated at 300W RMS (AES standard) with 8 ohms impedance and 100 dB sensitivity. The cabinet measures 45 cm wide, 57.6 cm high and 47.1 cm deep. Markbass lists the product code as MBC105094.
