The AMP 10 is a 16-channel power amplifier from the Marantz Cinema series, rated at 200 W per channel into 8 ohms. It suits large home cinema and immersive-audio installations that need many amplified channels in one chassis.

The AMP 10 packs sixteen Class-D amplifier channels into one chassis, each rated at 200 W into 8 ohms (0.05% THD, 2-channel drive). Channels can be set up in normal, bi-amp or BTL configurations, and in BTL mode the output is rated at 400 W. The amplifier circuits are in-house Class-D designs combined with the refined Marantz HDAM-SA2 technology, and the unit is built in Shirakawa, Japan.
Inputs are balanced and unbalanced for all 16 channels, selected with a switch, and each channel has a SPKT-1+ speaker terminal. The front panel has the Marantz porthole-style display, which here works as a level meter, plus subtle side lighting on the metal front panel. A copper-plated chassis is used.
For integration into custom installs there are an RS-232C control port, an IR flasher input, the Marantz Remote Bus, and one DC trigger input and one output. Auto standby is included. The amplifier has no network, USB or app control, and firmware cannot be updated by network, USB or RS-232C.
