Trigger Finger Pro combines 16 RGB pads, four assignable knobs, faders and backlit buttons with a large LCD for programming and feedback. Four pad banks extend the surface to 64 pads, and four control banks extend the knobs, faders and switches to 16 each. Mackie Control and HUI support allows it to work as a hands-on DAW mixing surface.
An onboard 64-step sequencer can build grooves and melodies, and it works without a computer. It can send sequence data over MIDI to any external device with a MIDI input, such as hardware synths and drum machines.
It connects by USB-MIDI and also has a 5-pin MIDI output. The unit is class-compliant and powered over USB, so no driver or power adapter is needed. A slim brushed-aluminium faceplate chassis and a removable 3-position metal stand make it portable. The bundled download package includes Arsenal software (standalone or plugin), AIR Drums, Hybrid 3, Toolroom Records launch packs and a Prime Loops expansion.
