The Oxygen 61 MK IV combines 61 full-size, synth-action velocity-sensitive keys with eight velocity-sensitive pads, eight assignable knobs and nine assignable faders. Dedicated transport buttons and track up/down buttons let the user start, stop and record in a DAW without touching the mouse, and an LCD screen shows parameter feedback.
DirectLink maps the controls automatically to key parameters in DAWs such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic and Cubase. Built-in customizable mapping presets help connect the controller to effect plugins and virtual instruments. A sustain pedal input is provided for added expression.
The controller is USB-powered and class-compliant, using USB-MIDI, so it needs no separate power supply. It can also work with iPad and other iOS audio apps through the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, which is sold separately. The software bundle includes Ableton Live Lite, AIR Music Tech Xpand!2, VIP3.0 and the Touch Loops sample collection.
