The Oxygen 25 (MKV) is a compact USB MIDI controller built around 25 full-size velocity-sensitive keys. Above the keys sit 8 velocity-sensitive pads in two banks, 8 assignable knobs, an assignable fader, transport buttons, pitch and modulation wheels and a display that shows parameter feedback. A 1/4" jack accepts a sustain pedal.
Playing aids include Note Repeat, which retriggers a held pad at a selectable note division in momentary or latch mode, and an arpeggiator with Type, Octave, Gate and Swing controls that can follow the keyboard's tempo or the DAW's. Smart Chord plays a full chord from one key, with major, minor, voicing and custom chord structures. Smart Scale restricts the keys to a chosen scale, with more than 15 scale variations.
Preset and DAW buttons auto-map transport, fader, pan, record arm, solo, mute and select controls to most major DAWs. Presets are included for the bundled Mini Grand and Hybrid 3 instruments. The controller connects by USB cable, and the bundle covers Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats, expansion packs and learning software.
