Hammer 88 Pro

The Hammer 88 Pro is a full-size MIDI controller built around an 88-note graded hammer-action keybed with channel aftertouch and assignable zones. Above the keys sit 16 RGB velocity-sensitive pads with Note Repeat, 8 assignable knobs with buttons, 9 assignable faders, pitch and modulation wheels, and an OLED screen for browsing sounds and editing controls.

A set of DAW maps provides automatic mapping of transport, faders, pan and other common functions for major DAWs, including Ableton Live, Pro Tools, MPC Beats, Cubase, Logic and Studio One. The same auto-mapping covers the bundled AIR virtual instruments. Smart Chord turns a single key or pad into a full chord, with a custom mode that copies a played chord shape to every key. Smart Scale limits the keys to a chosen scale, with 16 scale variations. A built-in arpeggiator offers Type, Octave, Gate and Swing controls, with latch or momentary operation.

The keyboard connects to a computer over USB, which also powers it, and has 5-pin MIDI In and Out for external gear. Three footswitch inputs and one expression pedal input are provided. A software bundle with Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats and several AIR instruments is included.
