BX8 D3
The BX8 D3 is an 8-inch, two-way near-field powered studio monitor with a bi-amplified Class A/B design, intended for producers and engineers mixing in home or project studios. It has XLR and TRS balanced inputs and an Acoustic Space room control.

The BX8 D3 is an active two-way near-field reference monitor. An 8-inch Kevlar woofer handles low and mid frequencies, and a 1.25-inch natural silk dome tweeter handles the highs, with a crossover at 2.0 kHz. The tweeter sits in a computer-optimised waveguide to control dispersion, and a flared rear port is used for low-frequency extension. The cabinet is vinyl-laminated MDF.
Each driver has its own Class A/B amplifier: 80 W for the woofer and 70 W for the tweeter, 150 W in total. Rear controls include a volume knob and an Acoustic Space control for reducing bass build-up and standing-wave problems caused by the room. A front-mounted LED helps locate the best listening position, and the front baffle uses a fastenerless design with no visible driver screws.
Inputs are a balanced XLR and a balanced/unbalanced 1/4-inch TRS connector, so the monitor can be fed from audio interfaces, mixers, synthesizers and DJ equipment. Protection covers RF interference, output current limiting, over-temperature, turn on/off transients and subsonic content, plus an external mains fuse.
