The AIR 192|14 is a desktop USB audio interface with eight simultaneous inputs: four XLR/TRS combo inputs with preamps and phantom power, two instrument inputs for guitar or bass, and two line inputs for synths, keyboards or a mixer. A 5-pin-free MIDI pair (3.5 mm in and out) lets it talk to external sequencers, drum machines and controllers.
On the output side it provides stereo monitor outputs with a mono/stereo switch, two additional assignable line outputs for outboard gear, and two headphone outputs, each with its own level control and source select. A Direct/USB knob balances the live input signal against the computer playback for zero-latency monitoring, and a large metal knob sets monitor volume. Segmented LED meters per input (-20 dB to 0 dB) help set gain. The chassis is metal.
It connects to a computer over USB-C (USB 2.0 or USB-C port) and is powered by an included 12 VAC adapter. The bundle includes Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats, ReValver amp modelling, AIR Creative FX Collection Plus and a set of AIR virtual instruments such as Strike, Hybrid 3.0, Mini Grand, DB-33 and Xpand!2.
