The IMA 120 combines a mixer and a power amplifier for fixed installations. The Class-D output delivers 120 W at 4 Ohm and also offers 70 V and 100 V tap settings. A Hi-Z / Lo-Z selector switch takes the output transformer out of the signal path for low-impedance use, and a two-band equalizer handles bass and treble.

Two mic/line inputs have a mic/line switch and switchable 24 V phantom power, and the first channel has a switchable chime. Music can come from two stereo RCA line inputs or from Bluetooth 4.0, with the sources summed to mono. A separate balanced emergency input works by contact closure. A four-level priority scheme mutes music for paging and mutes everything for emergency calls, and an auto standby mode cuts power use when no signal is present.

A balanced AUX line output can feed external power amplifiers, active subwoofers or music-on-hold systems, and a Music-Mix switch chooses between the full mix and the selected music source only. Music source selection and Bluetooth pairing are done with capacitive controls on the front panel. A universal wide-range switching power supply is fitted, and an optional IMA RK kit allows rack or under-table mounting.
