The V6 Series Five is a single powered near-field monitor in a front-ported bass reflex enclosure of vinyl-wrapped MDF with a die-cast aluminium baffle. A 6.5-inch woven aramid-fibre woofer and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter are driven by separate Class D amplifiers (280 W low, 175 W high), with a 1.9 kHz crossover. Maximum SPL is 113 dB and the coverage pattern is 150° horizontal by 114° vertical.
On-board tuning includes 49 preset boundary EQ combinations, seven fully parametric EQs plus delay, and three user presets that can be saved and A/B compared. Standby, ground lift, input sensitivity, logo LED and backlight can also be controlled. The grille is removable and the cabinet has mounting bracket points.
A combo XLR/TRS input accepts analog or AES3 digital signal, switchable. Monitors can be controlled individually, in groups or as a whole studio over wireless mesh networking using the KRK Control App. Optional accessories are a wall mounting bracket and a 35 mm mounting adapter.
