The V4 Series Five is a bass-reflex active studio monitor with a front-ported enclosure, a woven Kevlar 4-inch low-frequency driver and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter. Both drivers have their own Class D amplifier (280 W LF, 175 W HF), and the crossover sits at 1.9 kHz. Frequency response is 63 Hz to 35 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum SPL of 113 dB.
On-board DSP offers 49 preset boundary EQ combinations, seven fully parametric EQs with delay, and three user presets that can be saved and A/B compared. Standby, ground lift, input sensitivity, logo LED and backlight can be controlled, and the enclosure has a removable grille and mounting bracket points.
A Neutrik combo XLR/TRS input accepts balanced analog or AES3 digital signals, switchable on the unit. Individual monitors, groups or whole studios can be controlled wirelessly through KRK Mesh and the KRK Control App. Optional mounting bracket and 35 mm mounting adapter are available.
