The Rokit 7 Generation Five is a front-ported, bass-reflex active monitor with a 7-inch woven Kevlar woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a copper cap. Two Class D amplifiers drive the drivers separately, delivering 145 W total rated power (234 W dynamic) and a maximum SPL of 110 dB.
Onboard DSP provides three voicing modes: Mix (flat frequency and phase response), Create (a more inspirational voicing for writing and casual listening) and Focus (mid-focused for analysing vocals and instruments). There are also 25 boundary and tuning EQ combinations to compensate for room problems, and the monitor works with the free KRK Audio Tools app, which offers a real-time room analyzer and EQ recommendations.
The cabinet is PVC-wrapped MDF with a low-diffraction, reinforced polystyrene baffle. Input is a balanced XLR / 1/4 inch TRS combo jack, and the universal-voltage power supply works worldwide. Magnetic faceplates allow use with or without a grille, foam isolation pads are included, and integrated mounting points accept optional KRK brackets.
