Classic 5
The Classic 5 is a 5-inch active two-way studio monitor with a 1-inch textile soft dome tweeter and 50 W of built-in bi-amplification. It is aimed at home and project studios needing a compact nearfield monitor with a flat default response and selectable bass boost.

The Classic 5 is a self-powered two-way nearfield monitor. A 5-inch glass aramid composite woofer is driven by a 30 W Class A/B amplifier and a 1-inch textile soft dome tweeter by a separate 20 W amplifier, giving 50 W in total. The default tuning is flat for critical listening, and a +2 dB bass boost can be engaged for a fuller low end. Peak output is 101 dB SPL with the limiter active.
The cabinet is built from 15 mm MDF with a high-impact polystyrene front and has a front-firing port, so the monitor can sit close to a wall without a rear port interfering. Separate low-frequency and high-frequency level controls let the response be adjusted to the room, and a system volume control sets the overall level. An auto-limiter protects the drivers at high levels. Two foam isolation pads on the base decouple the monitor from the surface it stands on.
Inputs are balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS and unbalanced RCA, so it connects to mixers and audio interfaces directly. The unit is sold as a single monitor in a silver finish with black drivers.
