Korg Slimpitch

The Slimpitch is a compact chromatic tuner with a colour LCD that has a white backlight and a colour-coded meter, so tuning status can be read at a glance and from a wide viewing angle. The body is smaller than a pack of gum and weighs roughly a third of the previous model.

A contact microphone on a 3.5mm mini-jack is supplied for situations where the built-in mic struggles, such as group rehearsals. The tuner covers the range of orchestral instruments, offers calibration for different concert pitches, and has a transpose function for instruments in F, Bb and Eb as well as C. Settings are kept in memory when the power is off, and an auto power-off function saves battery.

A magnet in the upper body lets the tuner sit on the lower part of a steel music stand without covering the sheet music. For aluminium or plastic stands, a metal plate is included. The transparent protective cover protects the unit in storage and rotates to act as a table stand. Besides black, limited editions come in pearl gold, pearl white and red/white.
