The Pitchjack is a small chromatic-style tuner with a built-in jack. It plugs directly into the output jack of a guitar or bass, so tuning starts as soon as it is powered on. The display angle can be adjusted to suit the body shape of the instrument or the position of its jack, and the input jack folds down for carrying.
Tuning coverage includes seven-string guitars (7B through 1E) and six-string basses (low B to high C). An LED shows the string number and the tuning status. A flat tuning mode allows tuning up to seven semitones below standard pitch.
A hole at the top of the body takes a key ring, so the tuner can be clipped to a keychain, a bag or the zipper of an instrument case. A built-in LED light helps locate the instrument jack on dark stages and in other dim surroundings.
