This arranger is the Oriental version of the Pa700. It has everything in the standard model and adds a mini-keyboard on the left side for customising quarter-tone scales and recalling scale presets. It also carries extra Middle Eastern content: ouds, bouzuks, kanouns, assorted percussion and dozens of additional styles for traditional and modern music.
Sounds come from the EDS-X engine, with over 1,700 sounds, more than 370 styles and 1,152 style and setting memory locations. Each style has four variations with fill-ins and a break, and four Pads add riffs, percussion or effects. Other functions include KAOSS FX, a Standard MIDI File to Style converter, 148 effect types, vocal and guitar processing, an MP3+G player that can record performances to MP3, and a searchable SongBook with Set Lists.
A 2x25 W amplifier drives two bass-reflex speakers. It connects through MIDI ports, USB Device and USB Host ports, a microphone input and a dedicated guitar input. It can load KORG, WAV, AIFF and SoundFont formats.
