The MS-20 FS is a full-size version of the 1978 Korg MS-20, built as a completely assembled unit rather than the small-run kit offered in 2014. It reproduces the original analog circuitry and uses a 2VCO / 2VCA / 2VCF / 2EG / 1LFO structure, with a choice between early-model and late-model filter behaviour.
An External Signal Processor lets the synth process outside audio sources, and the patch system allows a great deal of routing freedom, with ten patch cables supplied in four colours. The unit is offered in four powder-coated colour variations in limited numbers: khaki, white, metallic blue and black.
It has a 37-note full-size keyboard, a mono signal input and output, a stereo headphone jack, MIDI IN and a USB type B port. Power comes from the supplied 12 V adapter. A software bundle covering iOS, Mac and Windows titles is also included.
