Korg modwave
Korg modwave is a 32-voice wavetable synthesizer with dual wavetable oscillators, a sub oscillator and noise generator, a dozen filter types, Kaoss Physics modulation and a multi-lane Motion Sequencer. It suits players and sound designers who want hands-on wavetable programming.

The modwave is a keyboard synthesizer built on wavetable synthesis. Each Program has two wavetable oscillators plus a sub oscillator and noise generator, with more than 200 wavetables, over 30 Modifiers, 13 Morph Types and an A/B Blend that merges two wavetables. Samples can be layered with the wavetables from a multi-gigabyte built-in PCM library, and up to 4 GB of user samples can be imported. Custom wavetables in the Serum format can be loaded or made in a modified WaveEdit.
Modulation comes from four triggerable envelopes, five LFOs, two mod processors, two key-track generators, four Mod Knobs and Kaoss Physics, an x/y pad that models a ball rolling and bouncing on a surface. Motion Sequencing 2.0 splits timing, pitch, shape and step values into separate lanes with their own loop points. There are two arpeggiators, three effects per Layer, a master reverb and a master EQ. A dice button randomizes sounds, and Set Lists and Smooth Sound Transitions support live use.
Balanced stereo outputs, a headphone output, DIN MIDI jacks and class-compliant USB MIDI handle connections. The Editor/Librarian for macOS and Windows works over USB networking, and owners can buy a crossgrade to the modwave native plug-in.
