EK-50 CSA

The EK-50 CSA is an arranger keyboard that plays an automatic backing band which follows the chords played. It ships with 356 Styles, 686 instruments and 160 Keyboard Sets. The Styles cover Latin genres such as Mariachi, Banda, Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Reggaeton and Ska, and the international Styles and sounds of the original EK-50 are kept. Newer sounds include trumpets, saxophones, brass, guitar, bass, Sampoña, Charango and Quena.

Each Keyboard Set can combine up to four sounds: three layered across the upper keys and one split to the lower keys. The instrument also has 39 custom drum kits, a complete GM2 sound set, a PCM sound engine and two stereo effects processors. A Grand Piano button recalls the piano sound at any time. Buttons are lit by LEDs, and a central display shows the selected sound and Style names in large characters.

For recording there is one-touch recording and a sequencer that works as a 12-track linear recorder. Song mode plays original songs, demo songs, MP3 and WAV audio and SMF data from a USB flash drive. More Styles can be added from a USB flash drive. Built-in 10W x 10W stereo speakers also play audio from a device connected to the input jack. A music rest and AC adaptor are included.
