The RP-504C is a bass-reflex center channel speaker for a home cinema setup. It pairs four 5.25-inch spun copper Cerametallic woofers with a 1-inch vented titanium tweeter that has Linear Travel Suspension. The tweeter sits behind a 90° x 90° hybrid Tractrix horn with a moulded silicone face, which directs high frequencies toward the listening position and limits reflections from nearby walls.
The woofers use dual-layer copper-wound voice coils and stamped-steel baskets mounted to large magnet motors. Low-frequency output is tuned by a rear-firing Tractrix port, which is matched to the cabinet and drivers. Computer-modelled phase plugs act as a mechanical filter and protect the tweeter.
The cabinet comes in scratch-resistant Ebony and Walnut finishes and measures 6.81 x 31.13 x 14.46 inches. A removable magnetic grille covers the drivers. A spec sheet and a product manual are offered for download. The maker also lists a newer RP-504C II model.
