The RP-500M is a bookshelf loudspeaker that pairs a 1-inch Titanium LTS vented tweeter, coupled to a Hybrid Tractrix horn, with 5.25-inch spun copper Cerametallic woofers. The horn is intended to direct the tweeter's output into the room, while the woofer handles the midrange and bass.
Low-frequency output is supported by a bass-reflex design with a rear-firing Tractrix port, so the speaker needs some clearance behind it. The cabinet is offered in scratch-resistant Ebony and Walnut finishes, and a removable magnetic grille covers the drivers. The grille is described as strong and flexible.
The cabinet measures 13.50 x 6.81 x 9.50 inches, which suits shelf or stand placement. Connection details are not listed on the product page; a downloadable spec sheet and product manual are provided for further technical information.
