The Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth headphones use 40mm Klipsch Balanced Dynamic (KBD) drivers, a design intended to reduce distortion and give strong, accurate bass. They are a closed-back style, portable pair for general listening and calls.
Wireless audio is carried over Bluetooth with support for the aptX and AAC codecs for higher-quality streaming. An integrated microphone with cVc noise-reduction processing handles calls. Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours.
The ear cushions can be removed, and a flat, tangle-resistant passthrough cable can be detached for wired use. The headphones fold down for transport and are supplied with a hard-shell zip carrying case.
