The R-4B II is a sound bar and subwoofer set aimed at improving television sound with minimal setup. The bar uses a two-way design and stands 3.5 inches tall. The subwoofer connects wirelessly, so it can be placed where it suits the room instead of being tied to the bar by a cable.
A built-in Dolby Digital decoder handles incoming soundtracks. Listening modes include Virtual Surround, Voice Enhance and Night. The remote has been redesigned from the previous version to make menu and sound-option navigation easier.
For connection, the bar takes optical digital, stereo analog and Bluetooth inputs. A digital optical cable comes with it for linking to a TV, and the unit runs from a standard electrical outlet. Two keyhole mounts on the back allow wall mounting. A spec sheet and a product manual are available for download from the maker.
