The R-112SW is a powered subwoofer built around a 12-inch spun-copper Cerametallic woofer driven by an all-digital amplifier rated at 600 watts of dynamic power. The enclosure uses a front-firing slot port with internal flare technology, which is intended to carry low-frequency output out of the cabinet.
The cabinet is finished in a brushed black polymer veneer and sits on a satin painted plinth. It measures 17.38 inches high, 15.5 inches wide and 18.25 inches deep.
Connection is made through left/right line-level and LFE RCA inputs, which are meant to work with most receivers. A wireless link is possible by adding the optional Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit, which is sold separately.
