The ProMedia 2.1 Bluetooth is a 2.1 computer speaker system made up of a subwoofer and a pair of satellite speakers. It is the Bluetooth-equipped successor to the original ProMedia 2.1 and is intended to be powerful enough to serve as a small entertainment system as well as a desktop audio setup.
The subwoofer is there to add low-frequency output at the desk. Audio can be streamed wirelessly over Bluetooth from a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet, so the speakers can be used from different rooms rather than only beside a PC.
For wired sources, the system has a headphone jack and a mini plug input, which allows other devices to be connected alongside the Bluetooth source.
