The K-100SW is a powered subwoofer built around a single 10-inch front-firing driver. Firing forward rather than downward gives some freedom in where it can be placed in a room, and the wide dispersion pattern spreads low-frequency output across the listening area.
An all-digital amplifier is built into the cabinet and is specified at 100 watts continuous and 250 watts dynamic power. A low-pass crossover and a phase control let the user blend the subwoofer with the main speakers and set the bass level. The cabinet is made of MDF, a front-mounted LED shows power status, and a removable grille covers the driver.
The subwoofer accepts a line/LFE signal, so it can be connected to the subwoofer output of an AV receiver. A spec sheet and a product manual are available as downloads from the maker.
