The HP-3 is an over-ear wired headphone in Klipsch's Heritage range. It uses 52mm free-edge biodynamic drivers (KG-520) in a triple-vented, semi-open housing, which is a back-vented layout.
The construction combines die-cast steel, milled wood, machined aluminum and premium leathers. The earcups are solid wood, the headband is genuine cowhide, and the ear cushions are sheepskin and attach magnetically so they can be removed.
Two detachable cables are supplied, 1.37m and 2.0m long, and a custom 1/4" adapter covers connection to full-size headphone outputs. A custom solid-steel stand is also included for storage on a desk.
