The Ventura 5 is a two-way sealed-box outdoor speaker sold as a pair. It combines a 25 mm fluid-cooled aluminium tweeter with a 130 mm (5.25 in.) low-frequency driver, with a crossover at 3.8 kHz. Rated frequency response is 60 Hz to 20 kHz (±6 dB), sensitivity is 89 dB and nominal impedance is 6 ohms.
The enclosure is sealed against the weather and has independent laboratory certification to IP65. It has been salt spray tested for over 1200 hours and is rated for operation from -40 to +70 °C (-40 to +158 °F), which suits coastal and marine settings as well as hot or cold climates. The grille and mounting bracket are aluminium, the hardware is stainless steel and brass, and the logo can be rotated to suit the mounting orientation.
The speakers are passive and connect to an external amplifier; the recommended amplifier power is 10 to 100 watts. 1/4"-20 threaded inserts provide additional mounting options beyond the supplied bracket. Each speaker weighs 2.85 kg (6.28 lbs). The speakers are available in white.
