Kube 10 MIE

The Kube 10 MIE is a powered subwoofer in a sealed cabinet with a single front-firing 10-inch long-throw driver. The driver has a large cone area and high excursion, and it is driven by a 300 W RMS Class D amplifier. Quoted frequency response is 24Hz - 140Hz (±3dB). It is the mid-sized model in the Kube range.

DSP processing under the Music Integrity Engine (MIE) name coordinates the subwoofer's components. It includes iBX Intelligent Bass Extension, which is intended to give deeper, more precise bass at any listening level. Three room position EQ presets adapt the sound to where the unit is placed. Power modes are Auto wake up, Always on and a 12V trigger for automatic wake-up.

For connections, there are RCA phono inputs and speaker level inputs, and KEF SmartConnect is supported. An expansion port accepts the optional KW1 wireless adapter kit, so the subwoofer can be placed without a cable run to the amplifier.
