The Ci3-80QT is part of a motorised in-ceiling speaker series built to stay level with the ceiling surface when not in use. It is intended for flush mounting and moves into position on a remote command, which makes it a fit for home cinema setups alongside motorised screens in a fully automated system, and for boardrooms where a discreet solution is wanted.
It is a three-way Uni-Q array with a quiet motorised mechanism. The drive complement is two 75 mm low-frequency units, a 75 mm mid-frequency unit and a 15 mm high-frequency unit, crossed over at 300 Hz and 3 kHz. Sensitivity is 87 dB (2.83 V / 1 m), and the recommended amplifier power is 10 to 100 W.
Installation needs a cut-out of 112 mm x 354 mm and a mounting depth of 120 mm. The frequency response figure is given with the back can / rear enclosure fitted. Further details and software are provided on the maker's Ci software download page.
