Ci160.2CR

The Ci160.2CR is an architectural in-ceiling speaker from the entry-level Ci-C Series. It uses a 160 mm (6.5 in.) Uni-Q driver, in which a 16 mm aluminium dome tweeter with a waveguide sits at the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone. The two drivers behave as a single point source, which spreads sound widely and evenly through the room.

The speaker has a shallow mounting depth of 84.5 mm, so it can be fitted in places where other speakers of its class may not. An Ultra-Thin Bezel sits almost invisibly at the edge of a very flat grille. The grille is magnetic, and both grille and bezel can be painted to match the ceiling. A weather-resistant treatment protects against moisture and UV light, and the speaker is IP64 certified.

It is a passive 8 ohm speaker with 89 dB sensitivity, suited to amplifiers delivering 10-100 W. It connects to an amplifier through ordinary speaker wiring. Cut-out size is 196 x 196 mm.
