Obi3 2nd Gen is a belt-driven turntable that plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. A built-in sensor monitors platter rotation to keep speed steady, and a pitch control gives ±10% adjustment. The platter is weighted aluminum, set on an engineered-wood plinth intended to limit vibration during playback.
The J-style aluminum tonearm has an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate, so tracking force can be set by hand. It ships with an Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge, and both cartridge and stylus can be replaced for an upgrade. A manual cue lever starts playback on lowering and stops automatically at the end of the record.
For output, the turntable has RCA connections with a selectable phono preamp, so it can feed powered speakers directly or go into a conventional hi-fi system with its own phono stage. Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless listening. A clear dustcover, felt slip mat, 45 RPM adapter, RCA cable and ground cable come in the box.
