Beskrivelse
The PRX935 is an active three-way point-source loudspeaker in an 18 mm birch cabinet with optimized bracing. It combines a 15-inch ferrite woofer, a 6-inch ferrite midrange transducer and a 1.5-inch compression driver, with updated waveguides for a 90° x 50° coverage pattern. Class D amplification delivers 1,000 W RMS and 2,000 W peak, and the cabinet is cooled by natural convection, so there is no fan.
A color LCD on the cabinet gives access to the DSP, which includes a 12-band parametric EQ, dbx automatic feedback suppression, a system limiter and up to 180 ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond steps. Presets are provided for pairing the speaker with subwoofers. The same functions can be controlled from the JBL Pro Connect app on Android or iOS over Bluetooth LE, which can manage up to 10 compatible speakers and systems.
Connections are two XLR/jack combo inputs and a 3.5 mm aux input, plus two XLR-M loop-through outputs and an XLR-M mix output. For mounting there is a single 36 mm pole socket and eight M10 suspension points. Two side handles are integrated into the cabinet, and system latency is under 1 ms.
