The Control 14C/T is a full-range ceiling speaker that pairs a 100 mm polypropylene-cone driver (butyl rubber surround) with a 19 mm liquid-cooled soft-dome tweeter. Both sit in a paintable, vented ABS baffle rated UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB, with a formed zinc-plated steel backcan built in. It covers 74 Hz to 20 kHz with a 120° conical coverage angle and a 12 dB/oct second-order crossover.
It can be driven in low-impedance direct mode (8 ohms, 30 W continuous pink noise) or from a 70V/100V line using transformer taps of 25 W, 12.5 W and 6.3 W, plus 3.2 W at 70V only. It is listed for plenum use and comes in white or black.
Wiring goes through a removable locking 4-pin screw-terminal connector (up to 12 AWG) that provides loop-through connections. Two dual conduit/cable clamps provide strain relief. The kit includes a C-ring support plate, two tile support rails, a cutout template, a paint shield and a grille. Optional brackets and thick-ceiling dog-ears cover other ceiling constructions.
